Carol Gabanna
Carol Gabanna has over 12 years experience working with Boards, as either a board chair, CEO or a consultant. She has worked with boards all across Canada and from a wide variety of large and small organizations. Carol has been personally trained by Dr. John Carver in the Policy Governance model and is a graduate of the Policy Governance Academy. She is one of the co-authors of The Policy Governance Fieldbook published by Jossey-Bass. She is also one of the organizers of a series of symposiums for Policy Governance practitioners, and is a member of the board of IPGA.
Carol is a gifted teacher and facilitator, skilled in using interactive processes and methods to engage group members. She is employed with Holland College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, to deliver customized workplace training and facilitation to organizations in the public sector, private sector and the not-for-profit sector. Her particular interest and expertise is in governance, management and workplace communications.
